Pentacle Theatre is honored to support Salem’s Center for Hope & Safety with a supply drive during the run of 9 to 5: The Musical — Aug 19 – Sept 10 Directed by Robert Salberg for people escaping from domestic violence.
For over 40 years, the Center for Hope & Safety (formerly Mid-Valley Women’s Crisis Service) has strived to provide a safe environment for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking and to educate the public about the issues surrounding victimization. They provide 24 hour advocacy, safety planning, and shelter screening every day of the week through our hotline: 503-399-7722.
What they need: simple things like kitchen supplies, silverware, dishes, pots and pans and small kitchen appliances, alarm clocks and umbrellas.
The women they serve would also appreciate gas cards and gift cards to Target, Walmart, Fred Meyer, and other stores so they can get cosmetics for job interviews and daily living.
For women who escape and leave everything behind, these gifts are priceless.
